Job summary

Eldor Turkey, as an international Italian Company with a promising future in Turkey operations, offers an Electrical Design Engineer position in Automation Research & Development for a challenging career opportunity to realize potential, growth and organisational ability.

Drawing automation and electrical-pneumatical schematics per IEC norms and EPLAN requirements, creating BOMs, and collaborating with Assembly and Automation teams for improvements are key duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering.
• Expert with EPLAN Electric P8 drawings (electrical and pneumatic).
• 4–5 years of experience in automation/machine panels.
• Familiar with automation/machine panel assemblies and how to implement them.
• Knowledge of cabling and tubing installation inside panels.
• Familiar with robotics, servo motors, vision systems, testing and assembly.
• Basic PLC programming logic knowledge.
• Electrical and pneumatic calculations for machine energy requirements.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Draw automation and machine related electrical-pneumatical schematics according IEC norms, machine safety standards and EPLAN requirements.
• Create and update related electrical – pneumatical BOMs.
• Cooperate with Electrical-Pneumatical Assembly and Automation Engineers teams for efficiency and improvements.
• Attend meetings for all customers both Eldor factories and external clients worldwide.
• Cooperate with Automation Mechanical Design Team for better results in new machines and improvements.
• Analyze and research more efficient and beneficial materials.
• Ensure that all operating, monitoring, maintenance and safety procedures are carried out as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics,Mechatronics and Automation Engineering,
• Expert with EPLAN Electric P8 drawings based on both electrical and pneumatically,
• Experience with electronics, electrical and pneumatical materials and choosing proper ones for the machines,
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience,
• Should be familiar with automation/machine panel assemblies and know how,
• Technical knowledge about cabling and tubing installment inside panels and machines,
• Should be familiar with basic mechanical tools, robotics, automation, servo motors, vision system, testing system and their use in manufacturing, measurement and assembly,
• Has ambitious to learn new technologies and tools,
• Base knowledge about PLC programming logic to be effective on electrical design,
• Experience on both electrical and pneumatical calculations for machine energy requirements,
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English,
• Good knowledge on MS Office.
