Job summary

Eaton Turkey is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop customer-specific mechanical solutions aligned with standards and manufacturing capabilities. You will manage BOMs, 3D models and drawings in SAP/PLM systems and support design approvals and documentation.

You will analyze risks via FMEA, drive improvements, and collaborate with engineering, order management and planning to ensure on-time delivery. Proactive learning and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics engineering degree B.Sc.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for medium-voltage (MV) switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Provide standard mechanical engineering deliverables and develop customer-specific mechanical solutions respecting requirements, standards and manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain accurate BOMs, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings within PLM/PDM systems and SAP.
• Drive customer approvals for standard and customized mechanical design solutions through coordination and communication.
• Conduct and support Design and Process FMEA to identify risks and improve product reliability and quality.
• Self-learn new methods, product knowledge and tooling to improve processes and outcomes.
• Communicate with all stakeholders on technical and process, planning matters.
• Document all activities and data in line with procedures.
• Provide 3D CAD design, drawings and internal documentation.
• Monitor developments and implement approved improvements in alignment with management goals.
