Job summary

AVL Research and Engineering Turkey, established in Istanbul to develop mobility solutions with advanced technologies, is looking for a hands-on hardware design engineer to contribute to next‑gen automotive ECUs, Inverters and BMS.

You will handle analog and digital hardware design, SPICE simulations with LTspice, PCB layout in Altium, signal integrity and lab testing, with at least 2 years of experience and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related hardware design area.
• Experience with analog and digital hardware design.
• Experience with analog circuit simulation using SPICE (LTspice or similar).
• Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
• Experience with lab equipment and testing.
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design next generation automotive ECUs, Inverters and BMS including schematic, simulation, thermal analysis, PCB layout, circuit tolerance, worst-case analysis and signal integrity analysis.
• Analog design with op-amps, logic gates, sensors, signal isolators, transceivers, MCUs, PMICs etc.
• Design switch mode power supplies (Buck, Boost, SEPIC, Flyback).
• Define hardware-software and communication interfaces (CAN, LIN) and specify sourcing activities.
• Support lab tests, debug and validation activities.
• Support project and quality management activities.
