AVL in Türkiye Research and Engineering is seeking a mechanical engineer to design powertrain and vehicle components for commercial platforms. You will model components, create technical drawings, and prepare quality documentation while coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in vehicle/powertrain design, CATIA V6/V5 proficiency, and willingness to travel inside

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system and component design of vehicles and/or powertrains in the automotive industry.
• Experience with creating component models and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and GD&T principles.

Job Description

• Assessment of test and simulation results and defining next steps.
• Plans and formulates own workflow and that of others to meet specified deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
• On site examination of new vehicle builds and/or new powertrain builds for compliance with then current design and communicate with stakeholders for required design changesç

Profile Description

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system and component design of vehicles and/or powertrains in the automotive industry
• Working experience with Catia V6/V5 CAD tools for at least two years including technical drawings
• Knowledge of DFM (Design for manufacturing)
• Open to frequent travels inside Türkiye
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German would be a plus)
