Competenze

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will bridge the gap between R&D, production, and quality assurance processes by designing and testing fixtures, preparing technical drawings, and developing prototypes. This role is critical to enhancing product quality and ensuring operational efficiency, contributing directly to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Problem Resolution and Immediate Actions:

• Address production and quality challenges promptly and effectively
• Conduct supplier visits and audits, and provide technical support to Quality and Production teams during supplier selection and evaluation processes to ensure compliance with quality and production requirements

Product and Fixture Design:

• Quickly design fixtures using advanced modeling software aligned with production and customer needs
• Design parts suitable for plastic injection
• Utilize mechanical design, modeling, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software effectively in accordance with engineering requirements

Design Implementation and Process Support:

• Develop prototype assembly instructions and carry out mechanical design activities, including machine elements, strength analysis, material selection, production and assembly techniques, technical drawing, and tolerancing

Collaboration and Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows
• Anticipate production requirements during the design phase and take prompt and effective action to streamline production processes
• Reduce defective product rates and scrap by improving fixture-based automation and minimizing operator dependency

Validation and Testing:

• Perform design verification, environmental condition testing, and support test activities to ensure high-quality outcomes

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design, fixture creation, or a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing environment
• Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced design and modeling software (e.g., CATIA (preferred), NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ANSYS, Simcenter 3D, or equivalent); comprehensive knowledge of machine elements, material selection, and manufacturing techniques; a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and standards; and sufficient knowledge of mold design to review injection molds
• Competencies: An analytical and detail-oriented mindset, strong ability to collaborate with dynamic and multidisciplinary teams, and excellent communication and organizational skills
