AVL Türkiye Araştırma ve Mühendislik is seeking a Design Engineer to develop and integrate powertrain and vehicle components for commercial platforms. You will model components, create detailed drawings, and document quality processes while coordinating with teams to meet deadlines.

The role includes evaluating test results, planning next steps, and conducting on-site reviews of builds across Türkiye, with frequent travel. Strong English communication is required; German is a plus.

Competenze

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in system and component design of vehicles and/or powertrains in the automotive industry.
Experience with CATIA V6/V5 CAD tools for at least two years including technical drawings.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Willingness to travel frequently within Türkiye.

Mansioni

Design powertrain and vehicle components and integrate them into commercial vehicle platforms.
Create component models and prepare technical drawings.
Prepare component quality documentation (boundary diagrams, P diagrams, robustness check lists, FMEAs, and test plans).
Assess test and simulation results and define next steps.
Plan and coordinate own workflow and others’ to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
On-site examination of new vehicle or powertrain builds for design compliance and communicate changes to stakeholders.
