AVL in Türkiye Research and Engineering is seeking a mechanical engineer to design powertrain and vehicle components for commercial platforms. You will model components, create technical drawings, and prepare quality documentation while coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in vehicle/powertrain design, CATIA V6/V5 proficiency, and willingness to travel inside

Competenze

Minimum 3 years of experience in system and component design of vehicles and/or powertrains in the automotive industry.
Experience with creating component models and technical drawings.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and GD&T principles.

Mansioni

Design of powertrain and vehicle components and their integration into commercial vehicle platforms.
Creation of component models and preparation of technical drawings.
Preparation of component quality documentation (boundary diagrams, P diagrams, robustness check lists, FMEAs and test plans).
Assessment of test and simulation results and defining next steps.
Plan and coordinate own workflow and that of others to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
On-site examination of new vehicle/powertrain builds for design compliance and communicate changes to stakeholders.
