Job summary

Ford Otosan is seeking a Cyber (IT/OT) Security Technical Lead to shape cybersecurity architecture across IT and industrial OT environments. You will guide risk assessments, drive threat modeling and remediation programs while ensuring security-by-design in manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global teams, adherence to automotive standards, and helping strengthen resilience in critical production systems. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure security and industrial cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of IT and OT security concepts, architecture and best practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response and security operations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, CIS Controls, EU CRA, NIS2.
• Familiarity with UNECE R155 automotive cybersecurity regulations is a strong advantage.

• As a Cyber (IT/OT) Security Technical Lead, you will play a key role designing and governing cybersecurity architecture across enterprise IT and industrial OT environments, ensuring security-by-design principles are embedded into technology platforms, manufacturing systems and digital transformation initiatives. Also act as the technical authority for cybersecurity initiatives, providing guidance, mentorship and strategic direction across the organization.
• You will contribute to the protection of critical production systems, strengthen cyber resilience and help ensure compliance with global automotive cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives across IT and OT environments to support secure and resilient operations.
• Drive cyber risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management and remediation programs for critical business and production systems.
• Strengthen security controls related to network segmentation, access management, endpoint protection and industrial cybersecurity.
• Coordinate cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, investigation and recovery activities.
• Partner with technology and business teams to embed security-by-design principles into projects and operations.
• Support compliance activities related to UNECE R155, ISO 27001, CIS and other relevant cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with Ford Global, Koç Group companies, suppliers and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity maturity and governance.
• Support strategic cybersecurity investments, technology evaluations and long-term security transformation initiatives.

What are we looking for in this position?

We are looking for a passionate cybersecurity professional who combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking and a proactive approach to risk management. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments where operational continuity, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity excellence must be balanced effectively.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure security and industrial cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of IT and OT security concepts, architecture and best practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response and security operations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards,regulations such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, CIS Controls, EU CRA, NIS2.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity regulations, particularly UNECE R155 is considered a strong advantage.
• Experience securing complex environments involving cloud, on-premises, IC S-OT and hybrid infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM-SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM, vulnerability management, OT Risk monitoring systems and network security solutions (WAF,FW,NDR,IPS/IDS,Proxy etc.).
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and lead proof-of-concept activities to identify innovative solutions that strengthen organizational resilience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business-focused recommendations.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, MS SC-100, IEC 62443 CE or equivalent are a big plus.
