Job summary

Ford Otosan in Turkey seeks an Electrical/Electronic/Control-Automation/Mechatronics/Mechanical engineer to support the Operational Technology and Automation Team at the Gölcük facility. You will help ensure safe, high quality, and sustainable production in line with ISO standards.

The role involves maintenance planning, analysis of efficiency and bottlenecks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and localization projects.

Qualifications

• Graduated from electrical/electronic/control-automation/mechatronics/mechanical engineering departments.
• Experience with predictive maintenance and maintenance planning is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 50001 standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and guiding the Operational Technology and Automation Team to eliminate malfunctions and problems.
• Control and analyze efficiency, breakdowns, bottlenecks, and maintenance progress in MOS meetings with OT and Automation Team Members.
• Carry out proposals, analysis and decisions in line with spare part detection studies.
• Organize efficiency/localization/alternative product studies based on spare part consumption analysis.
• Establish planned maintenance activities and carry out optimization and revision projects.
• Involve in chronic failures and provide expert support.
• Determine and disseminate predictive maintenance activities and feasibility/project studies.
• Create Maximo maintenance plans and manage special maintenance activities.

Role Description:

Responsibilities

Supporting and guiding the Operational Technology and Automation Team Member and team in order to eliminate malfunctions and problems

To control and analyze the efficiency, breakdown, bottleneck, periodical maintenance progress in MOS meetings together with the Operational Technology and Automation Team Member(s).

Carrying out proposal, analysis and decision-making activities in line with spare part detection studies.

To organize efficiency / localization / alternative product studies in line with spare part consumption analysis.

Establishing planned maintenance activities. To carry out optimization, improvement and revision activities.

To be involved in the chronic failures in which the expert knowledge in the lines is insufficient and to provide support.

To determine and disseminate predictive maintenance activities to carry out feasibility / project studies.

Determination of special maintenance other than planned maintenance activities and creation of Maximo maintenance plans.

Improving technical skills of field team.

Managing the commissioning processes of the projects.

To ensure that facilities, equipment and systems are established and maintained in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO14064 and ISO 50001 standards

To follow the production processes and support the solution of bottleneck points and chronic malfunctions.

To monitor technology, developments, innovations and competitors in the sector and industry, and to project and commission applications deemed necessary.

Education

Graduated from electrical/electronic/control-automation/mechatronics/mechanical engineering departments
