Job summary

Sensient Technologies in Gebze is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage order-to-delivery communications, coordinate shipments, and maintain export documentation. This role requires fluency in Turkish and English and is based onsite at our Gebze facility.

You will collaborate with Sales, Production Planning, Logistics and Finance to ensure timely deliveries and accurate order processing, while developing strong customer relationships and contributing to continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related departments required.
• 2-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Fluent Turkish and English communication.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer communication throughout order-to-delivery by handling emails, notifying departments, monitoring production and providing shipment updates.
• Organize shipments by aligning Sales, Production Planning, Logistics and Finance with customer requirements.
• Enter export and import product orders accurately.
• Ensure proforma invoices are reviewed with customers and master data is up to date.
• Provide required export documents on time and manage orders within credit limits while coordinating logistics.
• Support planning activities with sales and production units to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Department. You will be located in our office in Gebze, where we develop and produce natural extracts and food colorants for the food and beverage industries.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate customer communication throughout the order-to-delivery process by receiving orders via email, notifying relevant departments, monitoring production and delivery, and providing timely shipment updates to customers
• Organize shipments by coordinating internal units and providing customer requirements to all relevant departments like Sales, Production Planning, Logistics and Finance
• Enter the export and imported product orders
• Ensure proforma invoice is approved by the customer, and keep customer master data up to date
• All necessary export documents are provided on time, order is processed in the credit limit frame and also coordinate logistics
• Ensure that the planning function is carried out effectively with the sales and production units

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in related departments
• Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Turkish and English (both written and spoken)
• Strong problem-solving skills and good time management, open to learn
• Knowledge of MS Office programs
