Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality in a global environment.

You will collaborate across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement improvements, analyze deviations, and drive cost reductions. Strong communication in English and Turkish is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Solid years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, documentation, operating parameters, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement improvements.
• Investigate deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Optimize process parameters to improve product consistency, reduce waste, energy use, and costs.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Share best practices with global teams and standardize processes where applicable.

Job description

The Process Engineer will support the company in the implementation of the Natural Conversion Strategyby providing process engineering expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and quality standards.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, process documentation, operating parameters, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues
• Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Optimize process parameters to improve product consistency and reduce waste, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies
• Work with global process and operations teams to share best practices and standardize manufacturing processes where applicable

What you'll get:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality systems, and EHS requirements is preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Turkish
