Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Natural Conversion Strategy by optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality across operations in Turkey. You will develop and implement process improvements with a focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

You’ll collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to drive standardization, analyze deviations, and reduce waste and energy use while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.
• Solid years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, documentation, operating parameters, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement improvements.
• Investigate deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Optimize parameters to reduce waste, energy use, and costs.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Share best practices with global teams to standardize processes.

Job description

The Process Engineer will support the company in the implementation of the Natural Conversion Strategy by providing process engineering expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and quality standards.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, process documentation, operating parameters, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues
• Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Optimize process parameters to improve product consistency and reduce waste, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies
• Work with global process and operations teams to share best practices and standardize manufacturing processes where applicable

What you’ll get:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Solid years of experience in process engineering within the food, beverage, ingredients, chemical, or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality systems, and EHS requirements is preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Turkish
