Job summary

BorgWarner Emissions Systems Spain SL invites applications for a Customer and Process Quality Consultant on a fixed-term six-month contract. The role focuses on maintaining high standards in customer processes and quality, optimizing procedures to improve efficiency, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction within the organization.

Key responsibilities include leading PFMEA/MSA/Capability topics, driving CAPA and continual improvement, managing customer-related KPIs, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering
• 5 or more years of experience as Plant Quality and/or Customer Quality fields
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good analytical skills
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Additional certification in Quality Assurance (is a plus)
• Minitab user (is a plus)
• Outstanding communication skills
• Fluent in English and Turkish (minimum B2)
• Knowledge in FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP and PPAP

Responsibilities

• Process quality
• Scrap and FTP KPI owner – follow-up and actions
• Ensure that internal quality issues are resolved in a timely manner together with other teams in the plant
• Implement CAPA for internal quality issues
• Work on continuous improvements by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Statistical analysis
• Responsible for ensuring PFMEA is up to date with support from Manufacturing team
• Responsible to lead MSA and Capability topics
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, energy efficiency and safety at work standards, policies and practices in accordance with their level of responsibility
• Assure customer specific requirements are satisfied in the Business Management System
• Understand and ensure compliance with customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Leader of Customer Claim
• Customer Incident KPI owner - follow-up and actions.
• Customer PPM KPI owner - follow-up and actions.
• 8D answering time to customer KPI owner - follow-up and actions.
• Support Change Management with changes/deviations
• Ensure that customer portals are updated accordingly and in a timely manner
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing customer requalification tests in accordance with the audit plan
