Job summary

SFA Electric, a subsidiary of alfanar Group, is seeking a Quality/Process Engineer to join its Ankara operations. The candidate will monitor process quality across production, manage NCRs, and drive corrective and preventive actions in coordination with production, quality, and technical teams.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years in quality roles, with strong English skills and willingness to work on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/EC/Industrial or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality or Process Quality in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of non-conformance management and quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plan).
• Experience in sheet metal processing (laser cutting, bending, welding, painting) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to work actively on the production floor and coordinate with departments.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up non-conformance reports (NCRs) from customer complaints, internal findings and production processes.
• Conduct root cause analyses with relevant teams using 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D methodologies.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and assess their effectiveness.
• Follow quality controls and process conformity across pre-fabrication and assembly stages.
• Contribute to development, implementation and improvement of process control points and control plans.
• Analyze recurring non-conformances to identify improvement opportunities with production, quality and technical teams.
• Prepare quality performance reports and track related actions.

The position is responsible for monitoring process quality across production operations, managing non-conformances arising from customer complaints and internal findings, and driving corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the production, quality and technical teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical-Electronics, Industrial, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality or Process Quality within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of non-conformance management and quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plan)
• Experience in sheet metal processing (laser cutting, bending, welding, painting) and mechanical/electromechanical assembly processes is considered an advantage
