Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology seeks a technically strong AI/Tech Analyst to identify banking AI/NLP opportunities and translate business problems into clear AI requirements. You will work with engineers on data prep, annotation, and model evaluation, while designing prompts and assessing LLM outputs.

You will establish KPIs, document use cases, and contribute to technical papers and end-user guides in a fast-paced R&D setting. Fluency in English is required, with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in AI applications or tech-driven business analysis.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt design, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with NLP concepts: NER, classification, OCR, embeddings, semantic search.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify banking AI/NLP use cases with measurable business impact.
• Translate problems into AI/NLP requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with AI engineers on data prep, annotation, and model evaluation.
• Participate in prompt design, testing, and LLM output evaluation.
• Define and track KPIs for AI systems including ROI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (M.Sc. or Ph.D. is a plus).
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in AI applications or technology-driven business analysis.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of NLP concepts such as NER, classification, OCR, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Solution-oriented with strong teamwork, collaboration, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
• A strong willingness to embrace change and pursue continuous learning in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Agile methodologies.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and coding (hands-on experience with Python or SQL is a plus).

Job Description:

• Discover and define areas within banking where AI and NLP can create a measurable business impact.
• Translate complex business problems into clear AI/NLP requirements and technical evaluation criteria.
• Work closely with AI engineers on dataset preparation, annotation processes, and model evaluation.
• Actively participate in prompt design, testing, and the evaluation of LLM outputs.
• Establish and track KPIs for AI systems, including precision, recall, response quality, hallucination rates, and overall business ROI.
• Prepare detailed use case definitions, evaluation reports, and functional documentation for AI products.
• Create high-quality technical documentation, including white papers, end-user guides, project proposals, and progress reports.
