Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking a software development specialist to contribute to banking IT projects using Java and Spring technologies. You will design, code, test, and monitor applications in a DevOps environment, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong debugging skills, experience with microservices, and a customer-focused mindset. A STEM degree and English proficiency are required; hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from STEM fields, Computer Engineering preferred.
• Experience with software development and microservices.
• Familiarity with banking IT applications development is a plus.
• Excellent debugging and ability to understand others' code quickly.
• Knowledge of multi-tier architectures, client-server tech and SOA is a plus.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Take charge as software development specialist in projects per Yapı Kredi Technology methodologies.
• Provide technical design in banking IT projects aligned with business needs.
• Attend designing, coding, unit testing, monitoring and problem solving in Java-based platforms (DevOps).
• Code and perform unit tests according to designs.
• Keep pace with new software development technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from STEM departments (Computer Engineering is preferred) of reputable universities,
• Expertise in software development, familiarity with microservice development,
• Preferrably experienced in Treasury and/or Investment applications software development, aim to work and create value in these issues,
• Excellent debugging abilities and a track record of swiftly comprehending the code of other developers,
• Knowledge and experience in multi-tier application development architectures, client-server technology and SOA is a plus,
• Development and delivery experience with Java, Java technologies, Object-oriented programming and Software Design Patterns,
• Hands on experience in SQL, relational database management systems and database design is a plus.
• Preferrably have knowledge of Eclipse, Maven, Hibernate and Spring,
• Agile oriented; focused on delivery and customer first,
• Want to experience devops processes and to develop microservice-based applications as an developer
• Preferrably have knowledge of Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Development,
• Preferrably have knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, React, Redis and Rabbit MQ,

Job Description:

• Taking charge as software development specialist in software development studies by adapting to Yapı Kredi Technology software development methodologies and processes,
• Technical design in banking IT projects in line with business demands,
• Attending to designing, coding, unit testing, monitoring and problem solving in relevant Java based development platforms in devops discipline
• Coding and performing unit tests in relevant development platforms in accordance with the completed technical designs,
• To be able to renew itself and how it works about new software development technologies, tools and methods by following technological developments.
