Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology seeks a data governance software engineer to develop and maintain solutions for metadata, data quality, and lifecycle management. You will build data-marts with quality focus and ensure architectural integrity across governance, infrastructure and development teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with BI tools, data integration, SQL optimization, and proficiency in Python, with a strong ability to communicate insights in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of enterprise software development experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Business Objects).
• Knowledge of data integration, transformation and ingestion tools (Informatica Power Center, ODI, SSIS, DataStage).
• Advanced SQL skills and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with data warehousing and relational DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of data quality management, governance, data privacy and data cleansing.
• Experience in data discovery and privacy solutions on structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong data analysis, interpretation and communication of insights.
• Good command of English.

Job Description:

• Developing and maintaining software solutions to meet data governance needs such as metadata management, data quality management, and data life cycle management,
• Best in class software development for gathering enterprise data, measuring data quality levels and reflecting the results in full graphics user interfaces,
• Building, managing the architecture and the integrity of data quality oriented data-marts,
• Back-to-back working with data governance, infrastructure, architecture and software development teams,
• SDLC compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM,
• Minimum 2 years experienced in enterprise software development process,
• Experience on data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI and Business Objects) & methods
• Knowledge on data integration, transformation and data ingestion tools (Informatica Power Center, ODI, SSIS, DataStage etc.) & methods,
• Experience on advanced SQL, SQL performance tuning and optimization,
• Experience in data warehousing and relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.),
• In depth data quality management, data profiling, data governance, scoring algorithms, data privacy, information governance and data cleansing notions,
• Experience in data discovery and privacy solutions on structured data applications, databases and unstructured data sources,
• Experience in coding and problem-solving using Python,
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, interpretation, data visualization skills and ability to communicate data insights,
• Good command of English.
