Job summary
Henkel in Turkey invites an Automation Engineer to join our Maintenance team, focusing on electrical and automation systems across our manufacturing operations in Elmadağ. You will support PLC and SCADA maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, hands-on automation skills, and good English communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is required.
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC Step 7 / TIA Portal and SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and automation preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Monitor and support Siemens PLC (Step 7 / TIA Portal) and SCADA systems.
- Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with teams to optimize systems.
- Maintain maintenance documentation in the CMMS and ensure safety standards.
