Job summary

LHH is seeking a Production Assembly Chief to coordinate manufacturing activities in Turkey, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. You will lead assembly technicians, manage shifts, and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing and a technical background, with strong leadership, English fluency, and collaboration across Planning, Quality, Procurement, and Engineering to resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years in manufacturing, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within assembly operations.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with international teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet objectives and budgets.
• Monitor production areas, machinery, and output; identify continuous improvements.
• Lead assembly technicians and supervisors; manage shifts and evaluations.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Procurement, Engineering to resolve bottlenecks.
• Oversee health and safety policies on the shop floor.
• Report production KPIs regularly.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives aligned with business goals.
