Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong working relationship with the trading. As a Capital Market Technical SME, the Senior FO RAD Developer will closely engage with Non-Linear Traders in Singapore to understand their day-to-day needs and business development plans.
• Proactively and interactively define automation solution and existing tools/processes enhancements to increase business efficiency.
• Agile Developer, manage the full IT delivery lifecycle from requirement gathering to production live support including solution design and implementation following IT best practices and guidelines for safe and reliable systems.
• FO first line of support: Answer business urgent support requests in a timely manner supporting trading tools (mainly in Excel/VBA and python).
• Strategic Thinker: Work closely with Asia peers and the central team in Europe to further consolidate the FO technical environment in a simple, cohesive and efficient platform.
• Technology Adoption: Integrate AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot in every aspect of your daily work to enhance development speed, business safety and deliveries quality.
• Understanding key business requirements of Rate Vanilla and Exotic Products desks.
• Taking part in the development of new tools and industrialisation/enhancement of the current ones, following commando standards. Using mainly python for the backend and Excel for the front end.
• Working with a team of 2-3 commandos based in Hong Kong and Tokyo

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Qualifications and Profile

• 10 years experience of IT development for the financial industry but we can accept a very good profile with less years of experience
• Good understanding of Capital Markets Domain and market activities.
• Sound Knowledge on Regulatory Reporting (MAS,HKMA,EMIR,JFSA,CFTC,MIFID)
• Functional Experience on Non-linear Rates, FX, Credit, Repo with proficiency in trading lifecycle and market data.
• Expertise in pricing and modelling derivatives like SGD SOR swaptions, USD SOFR-linked products, caps/floors, and callable bonds, with an emphasis on Asia-Pacific yield curves, regional rate dynamics, and callable product structures.
• Knowledge of credit risk and derivatives such as credit default swaps (CDS) on APAC corporate bonds, credit-linked notes (CLN), auto callable structured products and USD-denominated as well as Emerging Market bond pricing.
• Proficiency in repo markets, collateral management with Asian government securities (e.g., Singapore Government Securities), and short-term funding mechanisms prevalent in Asia and US money markets.
• Strong grasp of long-term FX modelling, cross-currency products involving JPY, financial mathematics, and risk metrics (e.g., VaR, Greeks), tailored to SGD, USD, AUD and JPY-based products, with familiarity of Singapores trading conventions and benchmarks.
• Relevant experience with working with external source like Bloomberg, reuters .
• Manage SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction, Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management, Risk analysis and project execution.
• Skills & Knowledge Requirements
  • Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL
  • Basic Understanding on NO-SQL DB .

  • CICD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
  • Understanding of kubernetes and docker and any cloud platform: Container and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), public IaaS providers (Azure, AWS - preferred, Google Cloud),
