Job Description
Drive the implementation and compliance of IT policy for network and firewall architecture.
Install, configure and support network and firewall infrastructure
Perform network maintenance and upgrades including patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Assist in security incidents and provide expertise in remediation efforts
Identifying root cause of incidents and making appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure
Research the latest industry practices and technologies as well as emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including user-ids and application-ids
Being proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality
Participate in network related vulnerabilities testing and drill.
Participate in IT audit and DRP.
Assist in any other duties as assigned from time to time, where applicable
Job Requirements
Equipped with Cisco Networking Engineering Certification
Knowledge ofLAN, WAN, and Wireless Networks
Understanding of network security standards and best practices
Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls
Strong technical knowledge in Network Routing and Switching
Proficient in NGFW Firewall (Palo Alto/ Fortinet), User-ID, Application-ID, Remote Access and general network security concept
Familiar with DNS, NAC (Clearpass), monitoring tools
Service-oriented, interpersonal skills and adaptable to a fast-paced dynamic environment
Knowledge of cloud networking concepts
Experience in one or more Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, etc for wide range of services
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skill.
Certifications in Palo Alto would be an advantage
