Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and ensure the stability of the organization’s internal network infrastructure.
- Design, configure, and implement network setups for new projects and client deployments.
- Manage and upkeep system software deployed at client sites, ensuring timely updates and security patches.
- Perform software upgrades, patching, and configuration optimization to enhance performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, system, and network issues, including error diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
- Support and maintain Access Control, CCTV, and other integrated security systems across multiple customer sites.
- Participate in project planning and implementation, collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, configuration records, and inventory tracking.
- Administer user accounts, email (Microsoft 365/Exchange), shared drives, and access controls.
- Provide technical support to internal staff (laptops, printers, software applications).
- Oversee and manage system and network-related inventories for both internal and external environments.
Added Advantage
- Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, and/or virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, network monitoring tools, or patch management systems.
- Experience in automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewall).
- Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining IP‑based systems, such as CCTV and Access Control.
- Good understanding of system performance tuning, software patching, and security hardening.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
- Willingness to travel between client sites when required.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
