We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting escalated incidents, implementing network changes, and ensuring high availability and security across all network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 (L2) technical support for network incidents, escalations, and service requests in line with SLAs.
- Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewall-related issues.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and patch management to ensure continuous service improvement.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, including ACLs, VLAN segmentation, and IPS/IDS management.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for hardware replacements, configuration reviews, and performance tuning.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios, ensuring optimal uptime and stability.
- Support incident response and change management processes according to ITIL best practices.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration records.
- Participate in on‑call rotation or standby duty as part of network support coverage.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in enterprise network operations or support.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco or Juniper network devices (routing, switching, firewall).
- Hands‑on experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and network monitoring tools.
