The MFG team comprises top digital, offline, and integrated media experts working together to enhance media’s contribution to Google’s business. MFG is supported by EssenceMediacom and other parts of GroupM worldwide.

As a member of the MFG APAC Planning team, your responsibilities include analyzing data, thinking creatively, and developing innovative strategies to ensure marketing campaigns reach the right audience effectively. Since this is a Direct Response (DR)-led program, experience in DR planning is essential. Our focus is on driving engagement and delivering measurable outcomes that impact business performance. You will devise, propose, and recommend media strategies to attract and retain customers, fostering satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

1. Act as a key contact and lead DR planning efforts for smaller markets, ensuring alignment with broader strategies.
2. Develop and maintain accurate media forecasts, plans, and documentation.
3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of media, technology, and market trends affecting performance planning and client businesses.
4. Assist the Planning Manager in delivering learning agendas and preparing business reviews with a solid understanding of owned markets and marketplace dynamics.
5. Monitor campaign performance weekly, proactively identifying risks or areas needing intervention.
6. Support performance reporting with data-backed insights, collaborating with the activation team to ensure campaign health.
7. Identify and evaluate new vendors and partners, assessing their potential impact on business outcomes.

• At least 2 years’ experience in digital media, advertising, or marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Responsive, deadline-driven, with strong reasoning skills.
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop recommendations.
• Working knowledge of search, social, display, video, and/or programmatic media buying.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.).
• Interest in media strategy and planning.
• Active interest and understanding of digital marketing trends.
