Scientific Infra & Private Assets Ltd (SIPA) is the corporate arm of the EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute (EIRA) at EDHEC Business School. It is an ESMA-recognised index provider, specialising in providing market indexes, benchmarks, and comparables to investors in private markets, including unlisted infrastructure equity, private infrastructure debt, and private equity. SIPA offers bottom-up, asset-level metrics of the risk and performance of investments in unlisted companies and their debt, as well as advanced measures of the climate impacts and risks of infrastructure assets worldwide.
Today, SIPA's data is used by major investors, asset managers, and consultants, representing several hundred billion USD of assets under management (AUM). SIPA is based in Singapore and London.
SIPA is seeking an analyst to assist in developing a database of infrastructure project financial statements under the supervision of the Head of Data Collection. The role also involves collecting and reviewing market transactions for multiples as an equity price analyst.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a foundational understanding of accounting, finance, or economics who wish to deepen their knowledge of infrastructure projects and private equity companies, along with the financial frameworks that support them. The role involves detailed review of financial statements, analysis of infrastructure projects and private equity companies, and maintaining financial data within a comprehensive database. Additionally, the analyst will assist in developing sector-level revenue forecasting methodologies and contribute to market coverage reports.
