About the Role

This position supports the Distribution Remuneration process in the Finance Department.

  1. Process payments and accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy, validity, and timely execution in compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  2. Verify that journal entries, GST, and payments are properly supported and approved in accordance with Delegation of Authority (DAL) and internal policies.
  3. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statistical analyses.
  4. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations.
  5. Support the Team Lead in optimizing key processes and internal controls by recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Assist in investigating and resolving issues related to agent remuneration.
  7. Collaborate with various internal departments and external auditors to address inquiries and fulfill information requests.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry, preferably in Finance or Distribution functions.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of VBA Macros.
  4. Familiarity with AS400 and SQL systems is an advantage.
