Position Summary
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per task list
- Carry out corrective maintenance as per given instruction
- Observe and follow all safety rules and requirements at work
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections of infrastructure and facilities equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Carry out corrective maintenance to ensure equipment is recovered in the shortest time with good quality workmanship
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Perform routine, preventive maintenance work
- Maintain accurate and updated records of preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures
- Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of relevant practical experience in electrical work authorized for an electrician (NTC-3 holder)
- 3 years of electrical experience in heavy industry, preferably in shipbuilding industry
- Working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, materials, and equipment
