Position Summary

• Carry out preventive maintenance as per task list
• Carry out corrective maintenance as per given instruction
• Observe and follow all safety rules and requirements at work
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of infrastructure and facilities equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Carry out corrective maintenance to ensure equipment is recovered in the shortest time with good quality workmanship
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Perform routine, preventive maintenance work
• Maintain accurate and updated records of preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of relevant practical experience in electrical work authorized for an electrician (NTC-3 holder)
• 3 years of electrical experience in heavy industry, preferably in shipbuilding industry
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, materials, and equipment
