Job summary
A leading engineering services firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to prepare M&E system drawings and assist during the construction phase. Candidates should possess a diploma in a relevant field and have 3–5 years of M&E drafting experience, particularly with LTA projects. Proficiency in BIM is crucial. - Proficiency in designing ventilation systems and duct sizing.
- Experience with shop drawings, testing, and commissioning documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft M&E system drawings ensuring compliance.
- Conduct inspection checks and follow-up after installation.
- Coordinate with clients and civil contractors on interface issues.

- Prepare and draft M&E system drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-off for MEP services and prepare related documentation.
- Support construction phase with shop drawings, testing, and commissioning documentation.
- Conduct inspection checks and testing follow-up after installation works.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, civil contractors, architects, and other M&E contractors to resolve interface issues.
- Carry out duct sizing and calculations manually and using duct checker software.
- Design ventilation systems, including fan, grille, and diffuser sizing.
- Assist senior BIM modelers with CSD (Combined Services Drawings) and submissions.
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in M&E drafting with exposure to LTA projects (Electrical, Fire Protection, ECS services).
- Proficiency in BIM drafting and coordination.
- BCA Specialist Diploma in BIM will be an added advantage.
