Job description

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility is to create BIM content and production documents for the purpose of delivering a BIM assisted project.
• Perform QA/QC on modeller & Consultants' models for alignment with organisation's VDC/IDD standards
• Proficient with C&S, Archi and M&E 3D Models
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose
• Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models
• Interpret engineering drawings and updates of Consultant’s RFI to reflect the design intent
• Liaise with the team for production of shop drawings
• Creation and update of 3D families
• Creation of BIM models with the correct parameters and attributes for achieving 4D Simulation and 5D Cost Management
• Identify issues for BIM Engineer where discrepancies occur during design production
• Prepare models for Clash Detection Coordination
• Participate in knowledge and information sharing with other team members
• Act as technical advisory to junior modeller(s) within the organization

Requirements

• Higher Nitec Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering/ Diploma or Degree in Civil/ Architectural/ Mechanical Engineering or BIM
• Proven track record with at least 4 years full experiences with BIM, preferably from A1 Main Contractor or Consultants independently
• Must be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Auto Cad & MS Office
• Have basic knowledge and usage of Dynamo & Civil3D
• Have experience in 4D and 5D model creation
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Highly adaptable, flexible personality who embraces teamwork, but also enjoys working independently.
• Experience with Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage
