A leading banking and asset management firm in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in the banking sector. The role includes facilitating communication between stakeholders, gathering requirements, and supporting Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a higher technical education in business informatics. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient processes and effective collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with 5 in banking as a Business Analyst.
- Willingness to familiarize with new fields and acquire new knowledge.
- Experience with Avaloq system and Client Lifecycle Management preferred.
Responsibilities

Job Description
Become part of an agile team and take on the following tasks:
- You facilitate the communication between stakeholder and the development team
- You analyze the user stories of the product owner and support the prioritization
- You gather and refine requirements and are responsible for the IT specifications
- You accompany the implementation of the development teams and support the creation of test cases
- You support the Scrum Master in scheduling the required resources, especially in coordinating with internal and external IT service providers
- You analyze and assess business processes in the context of changes to IT systems, identify dependencies and ensure the implementation of efficient processes
- You will contribute your knowledge and provide advice and support to internal stakeholders in case of questions regarding the product
- You support the analysis of incidents
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 5 years as Business Analyst in banking / financial industry
- You have a higher technical education in business informatics, business administration or equivalent professional experience
- You have experience in requirements analysis, process consulting and solution design
- You are willing to familiarize yourself with new fields of activity and to acquire new knowledge
- You have strong communication skills, a service/ customer-oriented attitude and understand complex interrelationships quickly and holistically
- Avaloq system knowledge and Client Lifecycle Management workflow exposure is desirable
- Experience with Agile methods and tools is preferred e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Jira, Confluence, Xray
- You are a flexible, resilient personality and work systematically, structured and independently
