Job summary

DW Foundation Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to support project teams in maintaining a safe, compliant and healthy working environment across project sites in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with the WSH Act, coordinate with MOM and authorities, identify hazards, implement risk controls, conduct site inspections and investigations, and promote a strong safety culture. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Possess MOM-recognised WSH qualifications/certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience in construction.
• Good knowledge of Singapore's WSH legislation and construction safety practices.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with project teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on and willing to travel between project sites.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence (own transport preferred).
• Availability immediately or on short notice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in implementing site-specific safety plans and WSH programmes.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other regulations.
• Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on WSH matters.
• Advise Project Managers on hazards and risk assessment.
• Recommend risk controls to eliminate or minimize hazards.
• Develop and review safe work procedures for soil investigation, piling, and foundation work.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents and identify root causes with corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on injuries, incidents and losses.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and follow-ups.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to WSH policies.
• Support safety briefings and WSH initiatives.
• Perform other WSH-related duties as assigned.
