Job summary

CSC Holdings Limited in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to support project teams in maintaining a safe, compliant and healthy working environment across site operations. You will implement site safety plans, ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, liaise with MOM, and advise on risk controls, inspections and incident investigations.

A MOM-registered candidate with 2+ years of construction WSH experience is required, and travel to multiple sites

Qualifications

• Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
• Possess MOM-recognised WSH qualifications/certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience in construction; piling/foundation/geotechnical experience advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore's WSH legislation and practices.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel regularly to multiple project sites.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence; own transport preferred with possible transport allowance.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in implementing site safety plans and WSH programmes.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, regulations, codes of practice and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with MOM and authorities on WSH matters, notifications and registrations.
• Advise Project Managers on hazards and risk assessments.
• Recommend and implement risk controls to minimize hazards.
• Develop and review safe work procedures for soil investigation, piling and foundation activities.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare reports on injuries, incidents and losses.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and improvements.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to WSH policies.
• Support safety briefings and WSH initiatives.
• Perform other WSH duties as assigned.
