Job summary

WLK Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to implement and monitor the WSH Management System on site in Singapore. The role requires MOM WSHO registration, a relevant engineering/OSH degree, and 3–5 years of construction experience.

You will conduct safety inductions, inspections, and incident investigations, and liaise with clients and authorities to ensure project-wide safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with MOM, Singapore.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, OSH, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Familiar with WSH Act, Environmental Public Health Act, and Code of Practice.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the WSH Management System.
• Ensure compliance with the WSH Act and subsidiaries.
• Conduct site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and briefings.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Prepare safety records, permits, and documentation.
• Monitor subcontractors' safety compliance.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and drills.
• Promote a positive safety culture across sites.
