Job summary

DW FOUNDATION PTE. LTD. invites a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer to oversee safety across project sites in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with WSH Act, implement safety plans and lead inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.

You will collaborate with project teams, liaise with MOM if needed, and promote a strong safety culture through training and ongoing improvements. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Possess MOM-recognised Workplace Safety and Health qualifications/certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience in construction. Experience in piling, foundation, geotechnical or soil investigation is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore's WSH legislation, regulatory requirements and construction safety practices.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with Project Managers, site teams, workers and subcontractors.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage different levels of employees on workplace safety matters.
• Hands-on and comfortable working with multiple project sites.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence; company transport allowance may be provided for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in implementing site-specific safety plans and WSH programmes.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on WSH matters and registrations.
• Advise and support Project Managers in identifying hazards and risks.
• Recommend and implement risk control measures to mitigate hazards.
• Develop and review safe work procedures for soil investigation, piling and foundation work.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on injuries, incidents and losses.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions from inspections and audits.
• Promote a strong safety culture with project teams and subcontractors.
• Support safety briefings and WSH initiatives.
• Perform other WSH-related duties as assigned.
