Job summary

IET PTE. LTD. is hiring a full-time Workplace Safety & Health Officer to perform on-site WSHO duties at an assigned project/site in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, MOM requirements, and client safety rules.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, risk assessments, safety briefings, and investigations of incidents. Strong communication, coordination, and independent work are essential, with immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO with MOM and valid registration.
• WSH qualifications / certifications required for WSHO registration.
• Experience in construction / A&A / M&E / project site safety preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and MOM requirements.
• Able to prepare safety documentation, reports, risk assessments and incident reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with the project/site team.
• Immediate/short-notice availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-time WSHO duties at the assigned project/site.
• Ensure compliance with WSH Act, Regulations, MOM requirements and client safety rules.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Conduct risk assessments and review Safe Work Procedures / Method Statements.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety induction when required.
• Monitor contractors/subcontractors and workers for safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Maintain WSH documentation, inspection records, permits, registers and safety reports.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, site team, client and authorities on WSH matters.
• Attend safety meetings and support audits/inspections.
• Follow up on safety observations and ensure corrective actions are closed out.
