Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation is seeking a seasoned WSH lead in Singapore to ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations on major civil infrastructure projects.

The role requires extensive site supervision experience, strong knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, and the ability to implement robust safety programs and trainings to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Possesses at least Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B).
• Minimally 10 years of relevant construction and site supervision experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant WSH experience with EPC or main contractor (A1-equivalent) in major large-scale civil engineering infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Implements, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conducts regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct safety awareness training/programs/initiatives.
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
• Other Ad-hoc duties assigned.
