Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and monitor WSH and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites. You will conduct daily site inspections, maintain safety records and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of WSH experience (2+ years on site) and a Safety Coordinator or Advanced WSH certificate, with strong knowledge of WSH Act and related standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of WSH experience, with at least 2 years on a construction site.
• Safety Coordinator Certificate or Advanced Certificate in WSH.
• Knowledge of WSH Act, regulations and applicable legal requirements.
• Familiar with WSHMS.
• Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001.
• Good understanding of construction works across trades.

Responsibilities

• Ensure subcontractors and site operations comply with the WSH Act, regulations and established safety procedures.
• Review risk assessments and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Report and investigate site incidents in collaboration with the WSH Officer.
• Attend site EHS coordination meetings and assist in resolving safety and health issues.
• Promote continuous improvement of site safety practices and programmes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of WSH experience, including at least 2years in a construction site environment.
• Safety Coordinator Certificate or Advanced Certificate in WSH.
• Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary legislation and applicable legal requirements.
• Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health Management Systems(WSHMS).
• Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001.
• Good understanding of construction works across various trades.
