Job summary

QUEK & QUEK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety on construction sites in Singapore. The role involves conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and preparing required documentation to ensure compliance with MOM regulations.

You will coordinate with site personnel to improve safety standards, assist in Safety Committee activities, and maintain accurate safety records.

Qualifications

• Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skill and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend / conduct safety inspection, Safety Time-out, RA Briefing, Toolbox Meeting and etc.
• Analyze safety risk on site through regular safety inspection / supervision & submit observation / inspection reports on a regular basis.
• Prepare & submit all related safety documents as requested.
• Ensure works are performed according to approved method statements, risk assessments, and SWP.
• Coordinate with site personnel to continuously improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Assist the WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety-related reports, including tracking of safety issues.
• Compile and maintain safety records and reports, implemented in accordance with MOM regulations.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.
