Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Diffusion (Wet) Department.

You will support engineers to improve equipment performance and ensure readiness for production in a 12-hour shift environment. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/ITC/NTC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields, with 2–5 years of experience in the electrical/electronics industry and a proven team player who can adapt to rotating shifts and

• Diploma/ITC/NTC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Technology.
• 2–5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.
• Team Player.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices.
• Support 12-hour shift operations to ensure equipment readiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on time.
• Assist installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Support process improvement projects in the Module.
• Mentor On-The-Job-Training for new Associate Engineers as buddy.
• Participate in quality and productivity programs to improve module performance.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the production area.

We’re searching for an Associate Engineer to be part of our Diffusion (Wet) Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis

• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment

• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime

• Assist in implementing process improvement projects

• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as buddy

• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives

• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module

More about you:

• Diploma/ ITC/ NTC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Technology

• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position

• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
