Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is recruiting an Associate Engineer for WET Equipment in the Diffusion II, WET PM department.

The role involves assisting engineers to enhance equipment performance, performing 12-hour shifts, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure production readiness. Diploma/ITC/NTC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Microelectronics or Chemical Process Technology is required; fresh diploma holders will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support Production operations and ensure equipment readiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist in installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Mentor On-The-Job-Training (OJT) for new Associate Engineers as buddy.
• Participate in quality and productivity improvement programs to meet module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the production area.

We’re searching for a Associate Engineer, WET Equipment (50702329) to be part of our Diffusion II, WET PM Department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as buddy
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
  

More about you

• Diploma/ ITC/ NTC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Technology
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
