Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Associate Engineer/Senior Associate Engineer for the Diffusion (Implant) Department in Singapore.

This role supports equipment performance and production readiness within a busy module and requires strong teamwork. You will perform 12-hour rotating shifts, assist in PM/calibration, help install new equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements while mentoring new engineers and ensuring safe

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in electrical/electronics industry for Associate Engineer position.
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
