Job summary

SSMC in Singapore seeks a Wet Equipment Associate Engineer to join the Diffusion II, WET PM team. You will support equipment performance, calibration, and maintenance to keep production running, while collaborating with engineers and operators.

The role requires a Diploma/NTC in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics/Chemical Process Technology; 2–5 years of relevant experience, or fresh diploma holders, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITC/NTC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Microelectronics or Chemical Process Technology.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical/electronics industry for Associate Engineer role.
• Fresh diploma holders will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices.
• Support 12-hour shift duties to keep Production running and equipment ready for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on time.
• Assist in installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Mentor On-The-Job-Training (OJT) for junior engineers as buddy.
• Participate in QIT programs to improve Module productivity and output quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the production area.

We’re searching for a Wet Equipment Associate Engineer to be part of our Diffusion II, WET PM Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as buddy
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module

More about you

• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
