Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Associate Engineer/Senior Associate Engineer to join the Diffusion (Implant) Department.

The role involves supporting equipment performance, performing 12-hour shifts, and assisting in PM, calibration, and installation of new equipment. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/ITC/NTC in electrical/electronics/mechatronics/mechanical/microelectronics/chemical process technology and has 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITC/NTC in relevant engineering fields.
• 2–5 years working experience in electrical/electronics.
• Fresh diploma holders will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve equipment performance and CpK indices.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production.
• Conduct scheduled PM and calibration.
• Assist in installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Mentor new Associate Engineers during on-the-job training.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure safety in production area.

We’re searching for anAssociate Engineer/ Senior Associate Engineerto be part of ourDiffusion (Implant)Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

• To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module

More about you:

• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
