Job summary

You will manage the full sales cycle, identify opportunities, and provide technical recommendations to close orders while building lasting relationships with end users, distributors, and key customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in technical sales within welding preferred.
• Knowledge of welding equipment, consumables, industrial equipment.
• Experience selling via distributor/channel sales is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Malaysia when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales across Singapore and Malaysia for welding equipment and consumables.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and providing technical recommendations to quotation and order closure.
• Develop business within industries such as shipyards, manufacturing, marine, and offshore.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, distributors, and key industry customers.
• Identify new customers, applications, and business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Distributor management: Manage and support distributors across Singapore and Malaysia to achieve sales targets.
• Work closely with distributors on customer opportunities, technical requirements, and project follow-up.
• Conduct joint customer visits and provide technical and commercial support to distributors.
• Monitor distributor performance and identify opportunities to increase market penetration.
• Technical & Product Support: Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable welding solutions based on customer applications.
• Support products and solutions including welding equipment, inverter welding machines, collaborative welding automation (cobots), and filler metals.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Work closely with the Sales Director and internal technical teams to develop suitable solutions for customers.
