Job summary

Castolin in Singapore is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to drive growth in the maintenance and repair welding sectors. You will develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales, while coordinating with the sales team to set targets and plan promotions.

The role requires building client relationships, performing market research, and staying current on welding products to communicate their benefits effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgical Engineering.
• Experience selling industrial products across cement, power, steel, engineering sectors.
• Background in maintenance and repair welding solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
• Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, developing promotional strategies, and coordinating with the sales team.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector.
• Stay updated on the latest products and technologies in welding and maintenance and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensuring timely payment collection from direct business & through distributor.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production dept for drawings, jobs, stocks, and logistics.
