Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte Ltd is sourcing a Warehouse Deputy Department Manager to oversee a core warehouse facility in Tuas West. You will lead a large team, manage customer accounts, and drive operational excellence in a 3PL environment.

The role emphasizes manpower planning, KPI monitoring, cost control, and continuous improvement, with a focus on GDP/GMP/FSSC/Halal compliance. A strong background in warehousing and managing 50+ staff is preferred; allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in 3PL warehouse operations.
• Experience managing large-scale warehouse organizations with 50+ employees.
• Experience handling multiple customer accounts.
• Knowledge of GDP, GMP, FSSC, Halal certifications.
• Strategic manpower planning and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large warehouse workforce through managers and supervisors.
• Serve as primary customer contact and coordinate with internal departments.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
• Plan manpower, allocate resources, and adjust to volume fluctuations.
• Drive improvements to procedures, workflows, layout, and deployment.
• Oversee cost management for the warehouse operations.
• Support junior managers in daily operations.

Working location: Tuas West (Shuttle bus provided)

5 days works week (8 am to 5 45 pm)

Monthly Motor Allowance and Car Allowance are provided

Warehouse Deputy Department Manager

Our MNC client, a established 3PL company is hiring for Warehouse Deputy Department Manager who will manage around 80 employees in the department.

As the overall person in charge of one of our core warehouse facilities, you will oversee warehouse operations, customer management, workforce management, and continuous operational improvement.

Type of Cargo Handled: Primarily B2B bio and nutrition-related products.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large-scale warehouse workforce through Managers, Supervisors, and other team leaders.
• Act as the primary customer contact, handling inquiries, operational issues, and complaints while coordinating with relevant internal departments.
• Monitor and improve operational performance, including KPIs, productivity, inventory accuracy, work quality, and service levels.
• Conduct manpower planning, resource allocation, and operational management in response to fluctuations in business volume.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to work procedures, operational workflows, warehouse layout, and workforce deployment.
• Oversee cost management for the assigned warehouse and its operations.
• Support Junior managers in Operations
• Any other Duties assigned

Job Requirements

• Extensive Working experiences in 3PL Warehouse Operations environment
• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse organizations and workforce. Candidates with experience supervising 50 or more employees will be highly regarded.
• Experience managing multiple customer accounts.
• Experience in warehouse operations and space utilization planning
• Master in planning of warehouse operations
• Master in manpower allocation planning and training
• Experience of cost control and improvements of profit and loss
• Knowledge of and/or experience with industry certification standards in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and food-related sectors, including:
  • GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
  • FSSC
  • Halal Certification
• Candidates with other notable experience, expertise, or specialized skills related to warehouse management and operations will also be considered
