FROSTS FOOD & BEVERAGE (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore seeks a Head of Logistics to manage three Distribution Centers and lead a team of managers and warehouse staff.

You will drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations, implement improvement projects, and develop KPIs. The role requires strong leadership, WMS experience, and a Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics.

Job description

Background:

We are looking for a Head of Logistics to manage up to 3 Distribution Centers where we distribute our products around Singapore. Applicant should have past experience in managing Distribution Centers with exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS) and forms of automation in the managing of the goods and process within Distribution Centers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Distribution Centers and the team comprising of Managers, Assistant Managers, Warehouse and Logistics team
• Ensure operational efficiency with high accuracy and minimal defects to products
• Ensure that the company complies with regulatory and statutory requirements, signed contracts and agreements, and company's policies and procedures on codes of conduct, quality, health and safety and others
• Implement agreed projects to further improve operational efficient
• Collaborate with team members, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to shared information, problem solve, and to clarify management objectives
• Implement safety standard to avoid injury and damage to property and products
• Ensure that key positions are carrying their tasks to agreed Standard Operating Procedures
• Plan, develop and implement profit improvement plans and change management plans
• Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the Logistics as a whole
• Remain current with latest warehouse operations technology systems and procedures
• Evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of the operations and quality system for review to facilitate improvement
• Provide resources to achieve operations and quality related activities and/or resolve issues with significant impact on the business
• Accountable for the strategic planning and budgets for the logistics functions
• Administer KPI to ensure that set objectives are closely monitored and achieved

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years' experience in a warehouse and logistics and added advantage in lead role managing warehouse and logistics team
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff
• Willingness to work overtime, as and when required
• Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Converse well in English, will be added advantage if can converse in Malay or Mandarin
• At least a Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics or any discipline
• Proficiency in warehouse management system
