Job summary

SANKYU (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Head of Warehouse to oversee all warehouse operations, client management, manpower planning, and continuous process improvements.

You will lead Managers and Supervisors, coordinate across departments, monitor KPIs and costs, and drive SOPs, layout, and resource allocations to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience with management responsibilities.
• Experience managing teams of 50+ staff preferred.
• Proven track record in client management and process improvement.
• Career stability with sustained performance and growth in previous roles.
• Knowledge of healthcare/pharma/food industry standards (GDP, GMP, FSSC, Halal, etc.) preferred.

About the Role

As the head of one of our main warehouses, you will oversee overall warehouse operations, client management, manpower management, and continuous process improvements.

• Manage multiple client accounts and overall warehouse operations.
• Lead and manage large-scale warehouse operations through Managers and Supervisors.
• Act as the primary liaison for client queries, complaints, and inter-departmental coordination.
• Monitor and improve key metrics including KPIs, productivity, inventory accuracy, operation quality, and service levels.
• Conduct manpower planning and resource allocation in response to volume fluctuations.
• Continuously drive operational improvements in standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, warehouse layout, and staff allocation.
• Oversee and manage operational costs for the assigned warehouse.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in 3PL warehouse operational management.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale warehouse teams (Experience managing teams of 50+ staff is preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in client management and operational process improvement.
• Demonstrated career stability, with a history of sustained performance and growth within previous organizations.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience with management responsibilities. Must possess direct, hands-on experience within the same industry sector. Candidates without this industry background will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications / Knowledge must have:

• Experience managing high-volume, fluctuating 3PL warehouse operations.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Knowledge or experience in healthcare/pharma/food industry certification standards (e.g., GDP, GMP, FSSC, Halal, etc.).

Where You’ll Work & What to Expect

• Work Location: Key Warehouse located in Tuas. (Occasional travel to the headquarters in Clementi for meetings as required.)
• Main Cargo Handled: Primarily B2B Bio & Nutrition products.
• Interview Process: 1–2 rounds (Conducted at our Warehouse Department).
• Additional Notes: Special consideration will be given to candidates with other relevant expertise and skills in warehouse operations.

Work Arrangement: 5 days, 8am to 5.45pm
