Job summary

BEYOND COLD CHAIN PTE. LTD. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Material Handler to manage daily stock movements, load and unload shipments, and operate warehouse equipment in a cold storage environment.

You will contribute to inventory accuracy, safe facility operations, and smooth logistics by handling materials, performing pre-operation safety checks, and participating in routine stock counts. This role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required for daily operations.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience in a distribution setting.
• Familiarity with basic Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Physically able to work in a cold room and in long standing/walking conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and perform pre-operation checks.
• Unload incoming stock and verify against delivery orders; report discrepancies.
• Move materials to storage, staging areas, or assembly lines using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Assist in picking and packing in a multi-temperature warehouse/cold room setting.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through routine stock counts and clear record-keeping.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety directives.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Assistant / Material Handler to manage daily stock movements, load and unload shipments, and operate warehouse equipment. You will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring smooth logistics, and upholding safe facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation:Safely operate MHE like forklifts / reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve pallets and heavy materials, and to conduct pre-operation safety checks daily.
• Receiving & Shipping:Unload incoming stocks, verify shipments against delivery orders, report discrepancies/damages, and load outgoing transport trucks efficiently.
• Material Handling & Staging:Move raw materials or finished goods to designated storage racks, assembly lines, or staging areas using pallet trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Picking & Packing:Conduct picking and packing functions as required by the company, in a multi-temperature warehouse / cold room environment.
• Inventory Control:Conduct routine stock counts, record inventory movements, and report of any discrepancies.
• Warehouse Safety & Maintenance:Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards), dispose of packaging waste, and follow all company safety directives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification:Have Forklift Operator License.
• Experience:Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution setting operating MHE.
• Technical Skills:Familiarity with basic Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) process is preferred.
• Physical Requirements:Physically fit for long walking / standing conditions, and able to work in a cold room.
• Soft Skills:High attention to detail, strong work ethic, punctuality, and solid teamwork communication.

Working Hours

• Mon to Friday:5pm to 5am
• Saturday: 5pm to 11.59pm
• Every Sunday and every Public Holiday is a non-working day
